The Oculus Quest 2 will run for between 2-3 hours, depending on use. You’ll get the most time when watching media, but gaming will keep you at the lower end. With the Anker Oculus Charging Station, you can ensure your batteries are always full and ready to go.
This mains powered docking station can also be used to keep your device safe from damage. After a session gaming, simply place the headset and the controllers onto the holders and your batteries will begin charging. The charging cable that comes with the Oculus Quest 2 itself will only charge the headset – you’ll need batteries for the controllers (1 x AA for each). The controllers charging solution works thanks to Ankers’ special battery covers, which allow the charging station to connect to the custom batteries (included) inside.
Note: We tested this with our Oculus Quest 2. The Quest 2 headset will not fit inside the dock if using the Elite strap and battery combination but will fit with either the stock strap or the Elite strap without the battery attachment.
